About Our Partners.

Kulluna Irada is a civic organization for political reform, engaged in setting the foundations for a modern, secure, efficient, sustainable and just state. It is funded exclusively by Lebanese citizens in Lebanon and abroad. Kulluna Irada believes transparency, accountability and citizen participation as major constituents of good governance. The organization’s goal is to raise awareness on public issues and engage constituencies of the Lebanese society: citizens, NGOs, experts, municipalities, and members of Parliament and Government in order to find and implement sustainable solutions. Kulluna Irada’s internal governance is based on collegial decision making and strict rules on conflict of interest: board members have vowed not to run for elections or participate in any public auction. Kulluna Irada is supporting and partnering with the Lebanese Oil and Gas Initiative (LOGI) in order to influence the path of the oil and gas sector which is a potential game changer for Lebanon on multiple levels.

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) is the oldest political foundation in Germany with a rich tradition in social democracy dating back to its foundation in 1925. The foundation owes its formation and its mission to the political legacy of its namesake Friedrich Ebert, the first democratically elected German President. FES office in Beirut opened its doors since 1966. Within the framework of its regional Climate and Energy project, FES Lebanon works on developing policies and research to ensure a socially just energy transition as well as to secure environmentally friendly exploitation of natural resources. FES works on facilitating the work of local NGOs and linking them to the needed expertise in order to adopt best practices within the Oil and Gas sector in Lebanon in what preserves the rights and the wealth of future generations.

NDI and its local partners work to promote openness and accountability in government by building political and civic organizations, safeguarding elections, and promoting citizen participation. The Institute brings together individuals and groups to share ideas, knowledge, experiences and expertise that can be adapted to the needs of individual countries.
